interesting piece of kit but would love to see the security aspects of it. take our common hackers now throw jibo in the mix..... if a hacker gets control over your jibo they have full access to everything jibo knows not to mention a 3 axis camera with motion tracking to watch your every move. i can already see this being huge but with something as connected as this you will give it more and more information. it will grow to become a part of your more portable systems like your mobile phone or tablet device adding yet more cameras and taking on new location sensors as well. a jibo 2.0 will likely have more automation built in adding a robotic arm or wheels / legs to allow jibo to roam around your house and do things for you. the further it grows and the more accepted it is the more it will be able to do. jibo may gain base attachments like adding a vacuum to jibos base would allow jibo to vacuum your house for you while your busy doing other things. the possibilities are endless and its only a matter of time before it becomes mainstream. it will no doubt be a very useful thing to have around but lets not forget what security issues may come with it .
