last week at the church work day, I turned the corner and met a man Stacy, on his bike, lookin for the library, said he wanted to go there and study, we spoke with him for a few minutes, found out he was in need of a few things, he was staying in a hotel in pt pleasant, we became friends, someone from church gave him money for food. He met pastor john and we all prayed, asked when service were on Sunday. I know our friendship and love touched his heart. Sunday he was there with his bible, As I got to know him alittle better and introduce him to you all he felt warmth, I found out he moved here only to put himself thru school at votech in Brick heating and ac, he faithfully rides his bike from pt pleasant to chambers bridge road. He spoke of being treated very badly maybe because of his race not sure at the place he was staying. He raised his hands for the Lords alter call Sun Morning, Monday morning he woke to ride his bike to school only to find his tires flattened, we got him to school and his tires fixed, he has served a couple days working at the church, prayer Tuesday nite, bible study wed, we prayed for a better place for him to live, the next morning he awoke to a phone call saying he was moving to wenkies motel. he broke down at tues evening prayer it was a very powerful time. I moved him yesterday got him a few things food ect, prayed together, he is confused at all the support and love, I said sometimes we all just need help, He is a veteran, ( army).I know he needs and is thankful for our friendship, prayers support, he would probably be looking for some spare work, odd jobs ect, If you have something get in touch with me I will let him know, he goes to school until 12 each day, does like 300 pushups a day and has walked home from school on chanbers bridge rd to pt pleasant so I know he is a better man than I,,, thanks for your help church
