*** lets see if we can help out this guy and his dogs ....its a cold lonely world. Reposting from Robin Daniels Holt...there is a homeless man at the Travelodge hotel in Kill Devil Hills. He is a US Marine Corp veteran. He was the recipient of two bronze stars and the medal of honor for valor. He has 2 small dogs and lives in his car. The local police department gave him some money along with a signed Christmas card which touched his heart greatly. He used the money they gave him to get a warm room for as many nights as he could. We give him the employee rate. He is a sweet elderly man. If anyone out there would like to help him it would be greatly appreciated. Several people have come forward and paid for room nights today. He is set for the next week. But there are alot of cold nights ahead of him. If anyone wants to contribute to his safety from the cold please call or stop by the hotel. He could use some food and pet food as well. Every small contribution helps this honorable veteran. His two little dogs are all he has and he loves them. He says they are his family. The hotel number is(252) 441-0411. Diana Lorditch will be there today until 3. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. The hotel will give him a free night for every 2 nights someone donates to him along with the discounted rate. If anyone wants to drop by or call and help this elderly man stay warm this winter, I know we all will be blessed by helping him
