prosperity in the covenant is to move you forward. Poverty keeps you down but prosperity moves you up. This commission is simply to help you know how to walk with God and to follow His counsel to prosper and fulfil your covenant purpose. We live in the world where things are getting tougher and tougher globally; it’s not a time to fold our hands but a time to take decisions, free our hearts, trust God and see Him move in our situation. As you begin to make covenant adjustment to believe God as God and read His word and discover what He has promised you, He will move you into your divine purpose, speedily in this season. Jesus said to Peter, “And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” Matthew 16:18. God is not asking. “Why are you passing through your problems but God is asking, “Who are you in the covenant?” Whatsoever is going to come out of your problem will be determined by the revelation of your identity in Christ. You must desire a revelational insight about yourself through the wisdom in the word of God. You are a child of God born by the Spirit of God and you need to stand tall in His will. Peter became a covenant reference point of Christ’s existence on earth. He became an evidence of the testimony of the ministry of Jesus on earth. And Apostle Paul said to the Corinthians, “for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord” 1 Cor 9:2. Listen: when you begin to act as a child of God and start to do things as God will do them, you will become His extension on earth with profound result and dominion. Mark 16:17-18 Your legacy is not tied to your possessions or the number of children that you have, but to the eternal value you created and influence you made. Peter had been a successful fisherman but God wanted him to become a supernatural influence that would be used to liberate his world. “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” Matthew 4:19. Therefore, God is looking for men to change men and women to change women and their world. Your goal as a member of this forum should not only be because of miracles, but to become a supernatural influence that God has programmed and positioned to affect humanity and other creation. What do people know you for? What is the covenant reference pint that can be credited to your identity? Your relationship with God is designed to enhance and make you a better person and not to reduce you. Therefore, when you answer the question of covenant identity, then you are qualified to step into dominion on earth. Jesus said to the disciples “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” Matthew 16:19. Jesus began to invest His authority and power in the life of Peter, because He got a revelation of who He is. When you receive a revelation of who God is, you will have access to His authority and power. Every blessing of God has a key to open it and every promise of God is a door. Until the promises are discovered in the word of God, the doors cannot be discovered nor opened. The word of God that unveils the promises of God is the same key that opens the promises and it is the same word that grants us the ability to be a covenant reference point to our generation and other generations to come. God told Abraham, I will make you a covenant reference point. “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Gen 12:2-3
