so Im working from home this afternoon getting ready for a conference call at 4:30 and my patio door is open to let some fresh air in and around 4:10 Jagger (the cat) comes in from the backyard and does this really weird meowerrrrrrrrr sound and opens his mouth and a cute little deer mouse drops out on my kitchen floor! !!! OMG... its still alive! !! so I grab the poor little thing in my hands and chase Jagger away.... and then the little bugger BIT ME!!! Hard! So I dropped the vicious varmit on the floor and grabbed a bowl and put it on top of him so Jagger does not finish him off...altho at this point Im kinda hoping the little f****er has a stroke and dies. My finger is bleeding so I put some antibacterial soap on it. ..now I have 7 minutes until conference call...no stress whatsoever. ...Im thinking he might suffocate under the bowl so I gently lift the bowl. ..but now I have Oven Mitts on my hands (the heavy duty mouse-bite proof kind)... I am secretly wishing he has died from shock. ..but no....he is alive and well. Anyway meet Ralph....
