DAY #24 : I AM THANKFUL BECAUSE . . . . First, I have this incredibly, amazing Family of God that reaches their arms around this world, while holding us very near as they reach our Abba Father in Intercessory Prayer, touching Heaven on our behalf. Today, I was released from the Hillcrest Hospital and will sleep in my own bed tonight. While a patient at Hillcrest Hospital, I was given a regimen of very strong antibiotics for cellulitis to my lower left leg following an accident on Veterans Day. As a patient, I must tell you my experience was professional, courteous, and friendly. Their nursing staff are angels and their doctors are very caring and personal. Most precious my wife witnessed were nurses going off duty to come by and introduce me to my new nurse and then telling me I had been an inspiration to them wishing me and my family all the best. I found myself witnessing to doctors and nurses alike as I had occasion to do so. I felt my purpose for being there was to witness to these dear people who might never would have been encouraged. I am especially grateful to my beloved Grace, who refused to leave me side and camped out with me throughout my stay. I am also very appreciative to our daughter who drove up from Georgia, to help us during our time at the hospital; and, she has been an angel to us both. We thank our son-in-law, Rockiy and the grandchildren for sharing her with us during this difficult time.
