this is my little christmas pup.he is approx 10 months old and landed up at b.a.r.c. our houston city pound..he was hit by a car and needed surgery to repair his broken leg and also has demodex mange.. a poor little boy that no one wanted. not even any of the rescues. so although he is not a shaggy dog we decided he needed a second chance. one of our wonderful adopters jesse lee, he and his wife barbie adopted olive oyl this summer asked to sponsor one of our dogs to go to the north east as one of the gifts for his wife for xmas but we asked if he would donate the funds to go towards the vets bills of this little guy instead as we knew he was going to need a lot of medical care ...jesse agreed and asked if we could name him dutch after his wives beloved dad. so merry xmas little dutch.. you are on your way to a new life..and thank you jesse and barbie for taking such great care of olive and helping with our little boys medical bills ... and thank you everyone who cares for our dogs and has donated this holiday season. thanks to you we rescued 6 more dogs from death row this weekend and they all too will get a second chance ..may you all have a wonderful day with your families and remember the poor dogs still in the shelters everywhere.. i wish we could save them all
