through some sort of agricultural genetic thing, a research team from haifa, the northern metropolin of israel, managed to make plants to subsist and cross long periods of hard droughts. instead of slowly dying, the plants now falls to some sleeping phase, just like the bears long winter sleep, and revive when the drought is over. the impication of such a breakthrough are beyond any perception, if it might solve the known problem of long drought seasons, by saving the corps, and perhaps reduce the malnutrition and hunger in underdeveloped countries.
