#vasurge As @barackobama is about to speak on Iraq #iraq lets remember about the petition bit.ly/VASURGE and the fundamental problem we have - no matter what we do militarily, WE WILL HAVE SOLDIERS IN COMBAT - how is it we send ANY troops into harms way right now when no one can look them in the eye and say we have their backs? We cant afford to fix the VA but we can afford to risk our soldiers lives on our failed mission in Iraq? Its been a failure for a long, long, time. We do need to deal with ISIS, but theres nothing wrong with remembering the message that we have sent our veterans - that we arent prepared to have their backs at all costs. Id like to see the same commitment to them we have seen to defeating ISIS. Barack Obama The White House
