what an inspiring and well thought readings and homily today, how prophet Jeremiah suffered of speaking the Truth and the letter to the Hebrews that we have a race to catch , to stay focus on Christ, our ultimate goal in life, and a very radical message of Christ according to Luke, "do you think i come to establish peace on earth???no, i tell you, it is division, a household of five will be divided 3 against 2, 2 against 3, father against his son, son against his father, mother against daughter, daughter against mother , and so forth and so on, but be aware that we do not interpret this with a negative tone , that our loving Lord wants us to unlove each other...no...no..no...there will be a division against good and evil, let us make a practical example just as fr. sullivan had preached, even between husband and wife, yes, wives should submit to their husbands, but, God said that thinking that husbands are holy so wives should submit, but, if your husbands have vices and unholy attitudes, would it be righteous that the wives will just give in. if you know that a friend , a co worker, a brother or a sister in a spiritual community is lying, gossiping, great or small, doing immoral acts, will you be just keep silent because you do not want to suffer the friendship you do not want division, this is a great challenge by our GOD, to stand firm of what is the TRUTH even if you are the last MAN standing, be not afraid, because GOD is there on your side to protect and guide you ....even when everybody will hate you or presecute you for the LOVE of GOD. then suddenly, i just remembered an incident that person close to me that person spoke truth and friends were cold and did not like what that person did, that person was teary eyed talking to me, but, i told that person...."you spoke the truth and the Holy Spirit help you to say it....and so be it....just pray for your friends that the same Spirit will touch their stony hearts"
