When my husband read me the description of CHEF as we were deciding which film to see on a rare weeknight out (when there was nothing playing at the Lincoln, of course), I thought it sounded pretty good. Although I usually go for the art house films over the mainstream ones, I’ll pretty much see anything with Dustin Hoffman in it. To my surprise and delight, I loved this movie! From the cooking scenes to the funny stuff that happens between the main character and his son, they had me at “cornstarch”. I was so excited to tell Roger, our Executive Director about this film the next morning, and he got it booked. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. It is a great date movie. CHEF screens on Friday, July 18th, Saturday, July 19th, and Monday, July 21st at 7:30 PM. Sunday, July 20th is the bargain matinee, starting at 5:30 PM. -Tobie
