The Z003R manual extension flush bolt has been included in a successful 4 hour fire test on a steel door to BS476: Part 22: 1987. It is also ANSI standard (American National Standards Institute) meaning the fixing holes are always in the same pre-determined place which is ideal for pre-prepped doors. Our Z001 manual non-fire rated extension flush bolt can be supplied with either steel or nylon tipped rods and a flat or radius face. The Z001 is manufactured from Mazak zinc alloy. We also offer two types of automatic flush bolt, the Z004 for metal doors and the Z005 for timber doors. These come as two bolt sets and automatically engage when the door is closed, and retract when the door is opened.
