The second is the track for another storm heading to the Philippines it is expected to be a Super Typhoon by time of landfall on Saturday. Her parents and siblings are also active members of the church here in Batinguel, Dumaguete City. She is a public school teacher with 3 kids, grade 6, grade 4 and a 2-yr old. Shes expecting her 4th child this January, GOD willing. Her husband’s a sugarcane truck driver but his income is not regular since hes needed only during harvest season. Their house was severely damaged during the 6.9magnitude major earthquake, which struck central Philippines this last 2012. Using funds availed from bank loans; they managed to repair their badly damaged house. A year later a strong typhoon flooded their newly repaired house but, thankfully, the house withstood the raging waters. It was only last year that they were able to finish repairing those damages caused by the flooding. After that disaster, the municipal government constructed a dike along the river to prevent another flooding; however, it seemed the raging waters found a way to bypass the dike and cause the terrible devastation that weve seen today. She has been through a lot of trials and adversities but her faith has kept her going; however, this most recent calamity has been the worst, since she has lost almost everything (her house and everything in it). What’s left of them were just their clothes they were wearing. All their savings had already been exhausted after undergoing a gallstone and appendicitis operations (just months apart) last year. To make matters worse, her doctor has advised her that she must give birth at 7mos thru cesarean section.
