071013 THE LORD GOES WITH YOU Deuteronomy 20:1-4 Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.’ DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT Victory rides on the wings of faith, and defeat on the vehicle of fear. The people of God were charged, never to entertain fear, because of any battle. Whenever they approach the enemy in battle, and see horses, chariots, and people more than them, they should remember that the Lord God almighty is with them; the Lord, that brought them out of the land of Egypt, with great victory. This same charge is coming to you this week, what is confronting you may be more than you, but it is not more than your God. Do not be afraid, with the multitude of issues that you have before you, or with the number of men, in conspiracy against you, because the Lord is with you. The Lord is not just with you, He is going with you, to give you victory, wherever battles await you. The Bible says, “For the Lord your God is He, who goes with you to fight for you, against your enemies, to give you the victory.” I can hear you singing different songs of victory, for each day of this week. It shall be victory galore for you, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not your heart faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be terrified, because of your enemies. Don’t concentrate on your battle; focus on the Lord God of your victory. You are a candidate for overwhelming victory. This week, you shall dance where the enemies expect mourning; laugh where they expect sorrow, sing where they expect heaviness, and victory where they expect your defeat, because the Lord is going with you. APPLICATION Put on an attitude of faith; expect the best to happen to you. PRAYER FOCUS Father, I thank You, because I am not going out alone, You are going with me, to establish victory for me, in the name of Jesus Christ.
