The son of Elah was Kenaz. 16 The sons of Jehallelel were Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel. 17 The sons of Ezrah were Jether, Mered, Epher and Jalon. (By his Jewish wife), the sons of Mered were Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah. The son of Ishbah was Eshtemoa. 18 By Bithiah, Pharaoh’s daughter, Mered fathered Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. 19 The sons of Hodiah by his wife, the sister of Naham, were Keilah the Garmite and Eshtemoa the Maacathite. 20 The sons of Shimon were Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-Hanan, and Tilon. The sons of Ishi were Zoheth and Ben-Zoheth. 21 The sons of Shelah (son of Judah) were Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the clan of the house of Ashbea, who were fine linen weavers. 22 His other sons were Jokim and the men of Cozeba, Joash and Saraph, who took as wives Moabite women, and Jashubi-Lehem. 23 They lived at Netaim and Gederah because they worked as potters for the king. 24 The sons of Simeon were Nemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul. 25 Shaul fathered Shallum, Shallum fathered Mibsam, and Mibsam fathered Mishma.
