1. Eat mostly unprocessed foods – vegetables, legumes, fruits, plus nuts and seeds in smaller amounts. Tofu is very minimally processed, and okay by me. 2. Daily small portion of organic, hormone-free meat or eggs, maybe twice on more active days. 3. No processed additives – sugar, oil, salt. Use dates or other fruit to sweeten, and get creative with naturally salty sea-vegetables and other herbs and spices. Starting on the 4th I’m going to be beginning my second annual 6-week Reset Cleanse. After all the cookies and candies and stuffing and Chinese food I indulge in over the Holiday season, I like to reset in the New Year by focusing on eating super healthily and taking excellent care of my body. It’s a good reminder for me how incredibly good I can feel, *if* I put in the work. Several of my clients are joining in with their own cleanses/healthier diets, and I encourage y’all to take a risk - invest some time and energy, and see how good you can feel 6 weeks from now!
