1. I taught myself to read at the age of 2 1/2. As is a surprise to nobody, I have a very strong sense of logic and order. Thisll be important later. 2. I almost got myself killed twice within two hours in one trip to Indianapolis back in 2007. I almost jackknifed my car off I-65 trying to pass a semi, and later I spun out and ended up backwards facing traffic against a guard rail going around a curve. 3. I dont really read music per se. Can I? Yeah. Its just a million times easier for me to learn pieces/tunes/charts by ear and emulate them, and use the sheet music to work through difficult parts until I have the muscle memory down. 4. I have a (bad?) habit of comparing myself to the best of the best when Im doing something. I hold myself to high standards and get irrationally upset with myself because I believe that I can do anything I set my mind to just as well as anyone else can, and I take failure REALLY hard. 5. About my sense of logic and order: it runs into issues where math and logical reasoning cant carry me to a proper ending, i.e. interpersonal relations. How I think a situation should play out and what the reality is is obviously totally different. I struggle with this daily. 6. My biggest goal in life is to get to a position where people actually care what I have to say. I figure I can do far better with a little influence than a lot of people I see who get power and influence dumped in their laps and throw it to the dogs. Bonus/Corollary to #6: I hate it when people dont ask me questions. It makes me feel like people dont want to actually get to know me or dont value my opinions.
