1. Jimmie Johnson — His average finish of ninth at Pocono is the best among active drivers. 2. Carl Edwards — Has led just three laps at Pocono in the last seven races. He had led 156 laps in the two races before that stretch. 3. Clint Bowyer — He’s third in the standings but 10th in laps led. That shows just how much consistency means. 4. Matt Kenseth — It will be interesting to see how much a reduction in horsepower to help reliability will impact him at Pocono. 5. Kevin Harvick — Four races ago, he was 12th in the standings. Now he’s fifth. But he might be without crew chief Gil Martin, whose father passed away on Friday. 6. Dale Earnhardt Jr. — He is closing in on the one-year anniversary since his last win, which came June 17, 2012 at Michigan. 7. Kasey Kahne — He has had just three top-10s at Pocono since his 2008 win, but one of those was second last August. 8. Kyle Busch — He’s probably wondering, thankfully, why he wasn’t the Toyota driver with engine problems last week.
