1. Joy FM reports that The Ghana Health Service has warned of a possible cholera outbreak in Accra due to the current insanitary conditions in the capital coupled with the onset of the rains. .....folks try to eat food at home... 2. Energy Minister has called on all Ghanaians to pray for the rains to fill the Akosombo dam. Recall under Kufuor, some men of God asked the heavens to open to we have loads of water to turn the turbines....the other interesting bit about our energy minister today is that he likes to announce fictitious completion dates of our gas plant. This week, he has revised his September 2014 deadline to October and then concluded that by the end of the last quarter gas will flow. This is his 11th lotto number. For the gas completion. He alone has turned John Mahama into a laughing stock as he he urged the president to be announcing dates to end our blackouts without avail. 3. Ghanas premier hospital Korle bu has no water ? I can understand if Guinness Ghana Limited has to buy 100 tanker loads of water everyday, but a public hospital? Larry Gbevlo-Lartey did his best to provide water to the hospital but I knew it was just a matter of time the real issues came up....hmmmmm..sigh!
