1) usually built in remote hilly areas or oceans where there is lots of wind but not good infrastructure for building stuff. (roads, cleared land, etc). 2) throws chunks of ice and oil up to 1500 feet. 3) health-causing low frequency vibrations. 4) hundreds of gallons of oil ignitable by lightning capable of igniting forest fires. 5) deep foundations disrupting watersheds. 6) birds, bats, chop chop chop. scavenger birds chop chop chop. 7) hasnt shown the ability to reduce energy generation requirements of fossil fuels. yet … I think its a good idea. aweo.org/problemwithwind.html
