1. we are about to move to logan area (qld)...can anyone recommend a female doctor who is good with children and posibilly one where I can get his injections at also. 2. I have a 9 month old who has just discovered how to pull himself up and stand up in the cot...which is now making bedtime a nightmare. He just keeps standing up and talking, playing, laughing and then screaming and crying when he gets tired. Hes gone from a great sleeper to it taking 1-2 hours to get him down for a sleep. Any suggestions/ tips/advice? Do other peoples babys do this? 3. I just found out Im 5weeks pregnant with my second child. Ive got a docs appointment booked in for tomorrow, but I just wanted to know how other mothers found their second pregnancy? How different is it compared to the first in regards to symptoms, showing ect. And how did you cope with the extreme exhaustion with a very active toddler? 4. Ladies who have had c-sections, what did you pack in your hospital bag? 5. Would love to hear some suggestions for girls names. Criteria is short, easy to say and spell and quite unusual. Liking names like Clea, Alvy, Nyah etc if anyone would like to share their suggestions thanks! 6. Im looking to buy my ds a book for his first birthday as a part of his present. Does anyone have any ideas of a special book I could buy him? Also favourite childrens books? I want to make a list of books to buy him that he will love as he gets older. 7. Looking for some advice on ditching the dummy. My baby is 7 months old and has only been using the dummy for the last month or do after having a run of sickness and teething issues. He doesnt need it to settle originally at bedtime but will often wake up screaming so weve been putting the dummy in. Im wondering if I get rid of it will he stop waking?? Its also difficult as he doesnt like being patted or rocked to sleep and doesnt like cosleeping. Anyone have a similar experience? 8. At 7.5-8 months do you give solids or milk feed first? I cant remember anything from last time!
