1 year, 1 month, 2 weeks and 5 days....thats how long it took for me to pass my test. When people hear about tests and testimonies they think they happen overnight but Im here to tell you that they don’t. Throughout this process Ive experienced highs and lows and I wanted to give up and have a defeated mindset everyday but I trusted in the Lord and I let go of those negative thoughts. Peace be still..Have patience my child..Do you trust me?..If you do what I ask of you, everything you ask for will come to pass..Hold steadfast Those are a few of the things God told me throughout this process and the day I stopped fighting Him and trying to do everything on my own was the day everything changed. Trying to understand EVERYTHING does not give us peace, thats why we have to trust in the Lord. Some people may notice that once you master or understand one situation another challenge arises that does not bring about fulfillment. Once we realize we should seek the Master himself instead of trying to master situations we will find peace. For those of you going through a stormy season/test, don’t become defeated, let God use you because he is preparing you for something greater. You have to experience the bending, the breaking and the shaking to fully appreciate where youre going. You may not see the end or feel like its getting better but it is, and you have to believe it is as well. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
