11 years ago we had a dream - to create something special in Preston that was vibrant, sophisticated, contemporary and new. Taking ideas from bars all over the UK and creating a recipe of musical ingredients that combined soul, smooth grooves, RnB flavas, slow jams, reggae, ragga, hip hop and everything in-between. I was approached by a friend who asked me to take her son under my wing and teach him how to DJ as he was obsessed with soul, I also had a really keen barman & friend who had an incredible taste in music and a collection that rivalled even my own, the transition to DJ happened within a matter of months. Every Saturday night from 21:30 the place was packed out, sweet RnB filled the air and the regular customers made up the Loft family as it was, and the three of us played side by side and bounced off each other, doing the Southport shuffle and keeping the music fresh and the vibe alive. Lets see if we still have it in us! Original lineup - Me, Luke and Ryan plus a very good friend Mr MarCus Bee will be taking you back (my quote) and having it how we always used to! Would be great to see you all there xx
