11th-12th July Attended the Pertubuhan Vivekkam Malaysia 1st National Convention which was held in Universiti Malaya at Dewan Siswa Perdana. PEMBANGUNAN MODAL INSAN was the main theme of the program. More than 400 students from various higher-learning institutions participated in the program. A beneficial program that created awareness about social service and volunteerism among the Indian students to create a better future for the Malaysian Indian community in Malaysia. Prominent figures form our community attended the program such as Datuk P.Kamalanathan, Dato Seri Vijay Eswaran and Mother A.Mangalam, our own Mother Theresa of this nation who is the President of Pure Life Society , a charity home formed to help the orphans and children from broken homes. 2000 CHILDREN from VARIOUS RELIGION AND RACIAL BACKGROUND are currently under the care of this great individual. It was a great honor to meet her. Thanks to Pertubuhan Vivekkam Malaysia for introducing us to such a beneficial program
