13 years ago at 8:30am EST(USA) AMERICA was hit with a blow to the Heart with the Attacks on New York City at The World Trade Center. The north and South Towers (The Twin Towers) were both struck by two Planes(1 american Passenger Airliner and 1 unmarked unmand jet. 13 years later we have not forgotten 9-11. We still Have the Lives of those lost in the attacks in our hearts and minds. WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America in support of this Declaration, we pledge to each other our lives, fortunes and Sacred Honour: I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE UNION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. AND TO THE FOUNDING FATHERS OF OUR DEMOCRACY ONE NATION UNITED TOGETHER INDIVISIBLE WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. Please join us The American People in singing our National Anthem written by Francis Scott Key in 1785, in remembrance to those who lost their lives on this Infamous Day of Terror. All verses (*except verses 5&6) are originally written by Francis Scott Key. 1) Oh say can you see?! By the dawns early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming. Whose broad stripes and bright stars thought perilous fight. Oer the Ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming. And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there! Oh say does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave for the land of the Free and the Home of the Brave?! 2) On the shore dimly seen, thought the mists of the deep where the foes haughty host in dread silence reposes. Now it catches the gleam of the mornings first beam, in full glory reflected now shines in the stream. Tis the Star-Spangled Banner oh long may it wave. For the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. 3) Now where is that band who so Daughntingly swore. That the havock of war, and the battles confusion. A home and a country would leave us no more. Now their blood has washed out their foul footsteps pollution. No refuge could save the heirling and slave from the terror of flight nor the gloom of their grave. And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph doth wave for the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. 4) oh thus be it ever when freemen shall stand. Between their loved home and the wars desolation. Blessed with victory and peace may the Heavn rescued land praise the power that hath made and preserved us a Nation. Then conquer we must when our cause is just and this be our moto: United We Stand. And the Star-Spangled Banner in Glory Does wave for the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. 5) Oh say have you seen as the years have gone bye, theres a dream in our land like a flame that keeps burning. And the Lantern of Hope from the harbour still shines for those who seek freedoms dream to our land are still turning. Now we lift up our eyes and we look to the Sky for we know by the dawn we will see our flag fly. And this be our Star-Spangled Banner Forever! As the sign of the Free and the Hope of the World. 6) Since our land is Illumined and with Libertys smile if a foe from within strikes a blow at her glory. Down, down with the traitors that Dare to Defile Our Flag of the Stars and the page of her story. With the Millions unchained through their birthright hath gained we will keep her bright blazon forever unstained and the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph Still waves While our land of the Free is Our Home of the Brave.
