13hh chestnut gelding for sale/loan/part loan. He is a welsh b x british riding pony (fantastic breeding) and he has just turned 9 years old. He absolutely loves his jumping, and really steps up the game in a jump off, always in the red rosettes, and can turn on a six pence, will jump off any stride. Has competed upto 75cm around a course over fillers, water trays, spreads, skinnys and planks. Has jumped bigger at home, will jump a lot higher with a smaller competitive jockey as Ive simply outgrown him. Has loose schooled over 1m10 with no bother. He doesnt enjoy dressage very much so if youre looking for a dressage pony hes not the one... he was born to jump and he will only go to a jumping home! Perfect in open fields, doesnt get fizzy or naughty. He is always snaffle mouthed. Never kicks, bites, rears or anything nasty, can throw in a few little bucks sometimes but theyre only small. Needs a confident rider, can sometimes be a little spooky if he isnt reassured/thinks he can try it on, a firm but kind rider and he behaves. Good doer, lives in or out! Great to catch, clip, bath, tack up, shoe (although barefoot at the moment). No vices, lumps/bumps, sarcoids.. open to any vet! never had any illnesss or lameness in the whole 4 years ive owned him. He has also done training for MGA cumbria (mounted games) He really is a 1 in a million pony and anyone is lucky to own him. Loves a hack out, although I dont do this often through no fault of his own... so he can be a little spooky in some traffic but the more hes hacked out he better he is and less spooky. Ive hacked him past tractors, vans, motorbikes, trailers, wagons, buses, everything!!! He comes with all his tack and rugs,. Will only go to a 10* home, this pony is very special (my first pony) and the only reason for sale is ive outgrown him and I have no time for him due to college commitments, hes being totally wasted at the moment.
