14.2 has been announced and bring on the next experience in your competitive environment. Remember, itll be just you and your CrossFit family (and thats what we are at FBP). FBP CrossFit will run the OPEN WODs on Saturday (starting from 7:30am) and again on Monday (for those that cant make Saturdays through all sessions) so that everyone has the opportunity to participate. This weeks WOD, 14.2, is every 3 minutes for as long as possible: - From 0-3 minutes: 2 rounds of 10 overhead squats and 10 chest-to-bar- pull-ups - From 3-6 minutes: 2 rounds of 12 overhead squats and 12 chest-to-bar- pull-ups - From 6-9 minutes: 2 rounds of 14 overhead squats and 14 chest-to-bar- pull-ups And the same pattern continues a long as you can go until you fail to complete both rounds NOW!!!!!!! before we hear more about I cant do Chest to Bar Pull Ups here are the scales AFTER you RxD your Overhead Squats - From 0-3 minutes: 2 rounds of 10 overhead squats and 10 jumping chest-to-bar- pull-ups (purple band) - From 3-6 minutes: 2 rounds of 12 overhead squats and 12 jumping chest-to-bar- pull-ups (purple band) - From 6-9 minutes: 2 rounds of 14 overhead squats and 14 jumping chest-to-bar- pull-ups (purple band) This week we will be running waves of 4 with 4 registered judges commencing from 7:45am Wave 1 - 7:45am Wave 2 - 8:00am Wave 3 - 8:15am Wave 4 - 8:30am Wave 5 - 8:45am Wave 6 - 9:00am Wave 7 - 9:15am Wave 8 - 9:30am Wave 9 - 9:45am Wave 10 - 10:00am Please PM coach with your preferred times and you will be allocated best fit. DONT FORGET!!!!! FBP CrossFit is open to family and friends, members and non members, to support all of you complete the OPEN. Bring them along to cheer, yell, scream, laugh, .......and cry (???), along with us. Your children are allowed in the BOX for these WODS so long as they are appropriately supervised AT ALL TIMES. With significant weight being used (and dropped) it is NOT OK for your children to be running anywhere on the competition floor or warm-up area. So participate, have fun, try your best, work to your own capacity (no one elses), thats what this is all about. During Saturdays OPEN WODs you are invited to bring along foods and drinks to share. AGAIN NOTE Our athletes that are serious about the competition and attempting to qualify for the Regionals, either as an individual or team member, will need to be videoed according to submission standards. If you have special needs in regards to getting your Open workout completed (outside of Saturday or Monday), please PM COACH to arrange an alternate time.
