===== 1st Match Report , Summary and Scorecard ======= ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Friends sorry for late update , But really we have to say what a start for the tournament after a long long Gap !!!!! It was really a thriller match full with excitement from 1st ball and with nail biting finish. what can be call as a Perfect Start . Match delayed nearly an hour due to freezing weather and start at 10:30 am by little opening ceremony arranged by GMJS with the presents of our honorable Fathers and some Ex Cabinet Members . At the TOSS Deotola won the First Toss of the tournament but failed to won the match . They have elected to Bowls first on a brand new Pitch but Choto Golla responded with flying start with their old horse Sujon (Kelu) and rising star Victor . They have together putted 55 runs partnership in no time .That moment everyone expecting around 200 runs for ST.F.X.C. But with regular strikes Deotola Came back well and restricted Choto Golla to 150. Sujon highest score for St.F.X.C with 29 runs and Tonmoy Appears the most decent bowler for Deotola with three vital wickets . When Deotola came to Bat it was Choto Gollas Pace Battery (Sunny,Macky,Vicky,Pritom) who have dislodged their openers early. Specially Sunny was really Quick for them. after 3 quick wickets Deotola responded with counter attack when Both Tonmoy and Jony were in mood . but once again its Sunny who brake that partnership with an unbelievable Catch to dismiss Jony (Cruze). But Tonmoy was there and he continued to bat with keep Deotola on right track . at the end they have needed 11 runs from 6 deliveries with 4 wks in hand but they failed to collect those agains some Quick and Bounce Bowling from Sunny . It was Tonmoy once again best Player from Deotola with 41 runs and Pritom was the most cheaper among the wicket takers from St.F.X.C ** Everyone from both teams contribute to their team but it was Tonmoy who really made the match more exciting with his performance . thats why MAN OF THE MATCH selected Tonmoy ** here is the match summary and full scorecard
