2:18pm. Including the 30minute inspiration break that manifested in a more fun FB block of shares (ive decided to start curating my FB feed a bit more) this is the first time that Ive sat at my actual desk since I walked through the door today. My day is pretty much I walk in (having read and replied to most of my emails before getting out of bed) and start talking about whats next and whats needed and whats crazy urgent before I get my jacket off and my bag down. Today I went from that to a meeting that moved from my desk to my EVPs office and back again and started work on a delivery that is six weeks ahead of the delivery that Im theoretically working on right now. Then another meeting... then another meeting then... But todays meetings were all strangely productive and useful and I got to mentor teammates and be creative. I feel like Ive slipped through a wormhole into an alternate reality belonging to me circa 2002.
