2,819 days of having an incomplete family. When we all went out as a family (Mom, Dad, and all seven of the kids) we would pile into the station wagon or (years later) our suburban. Sometimes we went out to eat and other times it was taking the whole family to one of our siblings sports games. Once in a while, when we we were on our way home and got close to home, one of our favorite family favorite songs would come on the radio. Since we were approaching our turn into the driveway, one of us would start the chant, Around the block! Around the block! We would all join in the chant, with the hope of Dad passing our house and driving around the neighborhood until the song was over. I dont think any of us can remember a time when Dad didnt grant our wish and continue on around the block, even on school nights! We treasure memories like this one and look forward to the day that our family is complete again with our fathers safe return home to us. Please continue to pray for Bob Levinson this Thanksgiving holiday.
