2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Ive often thought about this verse when it comes to my work. When I was on air every morning, I rose ultra early to spend time with God. I felt the burden of carrying the entire radio show and I really needed to spend time with God to cope with it. At the same time, I was sure that whatever job anyone did, they would benefit by rising early and seeking the Lord and laying the day before Him. So now every morning, I dont get up as early as I used to, but I do still have a quiet time. And I have indeed discovered that when I make the effort to seek the Lord first thing in the morning, He gives me strength for the day....more than that, He gives me peace. His presence settles upon me. His Word fills my mind & I begin each day with a positive attitude. Its acknowledging Him, so He can make my paths straight. Its clinging to Him, a constant reminder that Jesus is my only guarantee. Whatever happens today, I have Jesus and His grace is sufficient for me.
