2 young friends died of cancer in less than a week.... i hope you will take time to read the message below, share in social media, offer prayers, and help.. ----------- Cancer is a word that at its mere utterance can take your breath away. Traditionally, a cancer diagnosis meant a death sentence. It is during those times that the cancer patient and family need someone who can come along side them and offer support. Mommy Abigail, a loving and hardworking single mother, was diagnosed on Sept 16, 2014 with Stage 3 rectal cancer. Her beautiful daughter, Naomi, an honor student, has been with us for 5 years and is currently in Grade 2. While Mommy was able to give her daughter a comfortable life prior to her diagnosis, her current situation proved to be a challenge - physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. The once vibrant mom could not continue working and the series of medications and tests put a strain on her finances. She was recommended to undergo surgery this month, 6 months of adjuvant chemotherapy and metastatic work up. She has been trying to shield her daughter from the pain she has been feeling and only recently gathered the courage to tell her. We can only imagine the fear of losing her mom and pain at seeing her mom suffer that Naomi has to go through at such a young age, every single day. That is the reason for our letter. This Holiday Season, while we are all busy preparing for the merriest time of the year, let us all stop and think about Mommy Abby and her family. The need for your support is great so that we can continue to give hope to a loving and strong mother who wants to get better for her daughter. Will you join us today by giving a generous donation of any amount? Every single peso will truly make a difference in helping her in her fight. Ways to help: 1. Make a deposit of any amount to: BPI Family Savings Bank Abigail S. Viray Account Number 6216339442 2. Pray for mommy and her family 3. If you are connected to or know any organization that can help, please let us know 4. Share Mommy Abbys situation with your friends so they too can help
