Who appoints them? 6. What stops you from publishing the criteria for selection of committee members and the list of parents applied to the committees? 7. What stopped you from fixing a term for the committee members in schools? 8. What is the reason for selecting non-parents to the committee and reason for continuing non-parents to the committee? 9. You say parent forums are banned in Oman. Can you publish that rule or order from the Government of Oman in this matter for our information? 10. You say that school committees are parent forums for the school. In that case what is the role of non-parents in committees? 11. How committee members are prevented from misusing the funds for their personal uses or favouring their companies? Is any committee member can take loan from this fund? Can committee members take the money of the school? What is the rule in this matter? Who is monitoring this? 14. What is the code of conduct for the school members and Board Members? While you are very eager to publish the code of conduct for the parents, threaten us with that why you are not publishing the code of conduct for the board and that for school committees? 15. Why parents are not having access to your Bye Laws? Anything we ask, the school says as per Bye Law not permissible. What is so secretive of this Bye Laws. What is basis or authorization for your to keep bye laws secret 16. You standardized the minimum salaries of teachers. Good. What you have done to ensure that these teachers are meeting minimum teaching standards? 17. Can you tell us in the last 3 years (during your term) how many teachers have been warned for non-performance and how many of them terminated for poor performance? 18. Can you tell us how you are monitoring the School committee? How you know a member is performing good or not misusing his position? How many members have been warned in the last 3 years for not performing or attending committee meetings? 19. Do you have rule that school teachers should send their children in their own school only? How many teachers are sending children to other schools? 20. What you did to control private tuitions and accountability of teachers in this matter? Can you elaborate on this?
