20 years ago I listened to doreen lawrence saying the police would not accept her sons death for what it was ie: a vicious cold blooded racist murder. she kept fighting onwards and after an impossible struggle to get to an inquiry .. at the elephant and castle the campaign finally buried the police for institutionalised racism... at last... people drank champagne & cheered, a couple more black people got into the police force, some even got promoted .. but somehow stephen lawrences murderers walked free and the police officers disappeared back behind their smoke screen... 20 years later the murder of stephen lawrence is still at issue, how can this be when EVERYBODY around the case knew that the CID in south london are as bent as a nine bob note and worked in collusion with gangsters and criminals... actively working against the safety of the community ... so now there is to be another public inquiry (yawns).. sadly this inquiry will not expose the truth.. and the truth is that the police are STILL very much institutionally racist and the police STILL hang out with gangsters and criminals sucking up back handers.. and so it goes, the police take the piss, we wait, time passes, no justice, no peace.
