By eliminating them or saving them for last, you can capture the viewers’ imagination. You will learn to work with the largest and most functional brushes possible and become a shape maker. Quick value studies will help you compose and design a painting that has a strong visual impact. Bold strokes and fluid application, along with the use of under glazes and rich colors, take this medium to an unexpected level. The instructor takes you step-by-step through the process with demonstrations, one-on-one instruction and critiques. Use your own photographs of any subject or the one provided by the instructor. Susan has been a professional artist and instructor for over 30 years. She paints in a variety of media though her passion lies with watercolor. She is a signature member of ten nationwide watercolor societies along with the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in New York City. She is listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide. Susan has been published in three of North Light’s Splash Series books and Artistic Touch 5.
