2014 had its own highlights , we saw an year where we not only came together as a welfare but as a family , its an year where we had delegations from kenya and we managed to extend a helping hand back at home with the beyond zero campaign , its an year where we had afew goat eating event with one event purely dedicated to our students, an year where we lost some of our members or members of their families, some of our members got married and others were blessed with children, an year where we had a seminar where had speakers who spoke about family life in the diaspora, religion, money matters ,we had a visit to Mashinani, an year where we spearheaded the East African community in Namibia in organizing a farewell party for Balozi Gitau, an year where we have welcomed the new Balozi I. Njenga , it was an year where we registered the highest membership contribution on our account, its an year we can count blessings as a Kenyan community, blessings and blessings and its with this that we gave thanks. Would like to thank the committee members lead by P G Wamburi steering the welfare to the levels we are now,its alot of dedication and all round sacrifice to sit in the meetings and deliberate on issues that affect the whole of the Kenyan community in the country and make sure they come to pass.
