22 days ago, Nicole and I had our first court date for custody of Deegan. I didnt sleep a wink the night before because I was so nervous. It was a new experience and I didnt know what to expect. I was confident and scared shitless at the same time. I love my son more than life in itself but I got an ex thats determined to make my life living hell. As I sat and listened to the ex couples that went up before us I was shocked and appalled at how easy these fathers were willing to give up their rights and not even put up a fight for their children. One guy agreed to seeing his daughter 1 weekend a month. Wait, whaaaaaaat?! We are returning to court tomorrow morning because I refused to agree with what she wanted. She wants 80% and I will not settle for less than 50/50. Long story short, I hope that judge sees how far I am willing to go for my son and grants me what I want and deserve. I spend every day that I am not working my ass off with my son and it is going to break my heart if he takes that away from me. Keep me in your prayers everybody and wish me luck!
