23 hours ago we were at the start line for our marathon in London- we are now showered, fed and tucked up in bed in Aberystwyth. The Shine walk was an incredibly overwhelming experience both physically and emotionally. I walked last night in memory of my Grandma who I have missed every day for 9 years and who I will continue to miss always. Seeing everybody elses reasons for walking, being able to walk with current cancer fighters and being thanked by the incredible scientists at the London Research Institute makes every aching muscle, bruise and blister worth it.
