24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00AM 05 October 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon “QUEDAN” was estimated based on all available data at 650 KM Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.7ºN,128.4ºE) with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It forecast to move Northwest at 13 kph. FORECAST:Palawan, Western Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to strong winds coming from the Northwest will prevail over the northern and eastern section of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the northwest to west will prevail over the rest of Luzon and from the southwest to west over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas. Makopa
