24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00PM 25August 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 pm today, Tropical Depression “NANDO” was estimated based on all available data at 250 km East of Borongan City (11.8 ºN, 128.0 ºE) with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center . It is forecast to move North Northwest at 13 kph. FORECAST: Eastern Visayas and Bicol region will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the Northeast to Northwest will prevail over the Eastern section of Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the Southwest to West over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to occasionally rough.
