$250,000 for Pearcedale Night Football & Cricket Lights & Scoreboard. Member for Hastings, Neale Burgess has announced that a re-elected Napthine Government will provide $250,000 to the Pearcedale Football & Netball and Cricket Clubs to install lighting at the Pearcedale Recreation Reserve that will allow night football and night cricket to be played there. The funding will also allow the clubs to install a state of the art electronic scoreboard that will provide score updates, replays and player statistics. Mr Burgess made the announcement at the Pearcedale Recreation Reserve, the home of the Pearcedale Football & Netball and Cricket Clubs. Mr. Burgess said: “As a result of this election commitment night football and cricket matches will become a reality in Pearcedale. The club will benefit from night use of the reserve and additional sponsorship revenue; while the community will have the added excitement of watching Pearcedale take on its arch rivals at home under lights.”
