3 1/2 years ago, I was introduced to some products that seemed valuable to me, and when I tested them on myself and my clients, they just plain worked. But then I was faced with something I hadnt faced before - the fact that these products were marketed through a business model called network marketing, which I was pretty unfamiliar with and didnt know if it was legal, ethical, or doable... or not. One quality I have been given that has always served me well is not to judge too quickly, but to make up my own mind about people and systems. Once youve lived your life for a while, you start to realize that many times people are biased against a person or idea not so much on the basis of the actual merits of that thing or person, but because of their own issues. Therefore, I have learned to keep my mind open, see what the person or concept is really like, and make judgments for myself. As it comes to network marketing, that was the best approach possible. Turns out its one of the most fair approaches to business Ive ever seen, with a built in system of encouragement, mentorship, training, positive community, and leadership development. I love that EVERY single person can do it, and that the only barrier is NOT start up capital, positioning, college education, or political connections. I just love that it provides ultimate freedom to people stuck in dead-end jobs, that it gives them a perfect opportunity to grow in their skills and income at the same time, that it allows moms to stay-at-home with their kids, and allows young college age kids to build the life of their dreams and work with people they actually like and respect! I love that people who are 25 and people who are 75 can build as much residual income as they want, with the only barriers being their own thinking patterns. I love that it gives me a platform to speak truth in peoples lives, and train them to live better lives of service, and learn how to be better leaders for good in the world. Sure, there are people who dont get it, people who find it difficult to imagine any other system than the one they are in. Thats ok. But for those who are willing to imagine a new life, and see new possibilities, network marketing provides a chance for ALL to make unlimited income from home, and build their work AROUND their family and home, rather than the other way around.
