We are pleased to inform you that, as part of our commitment to the program goals of the Paz y Desarollo (PyD) under PAC 4, PILIPINA is now ready to roll out the Training of Trainers on Gender Equality in Political Participation. This activity seeks to form and develop a local pool of trainers on gender and development (GAD) and women in politics; as well as test-run the draft training manuals developed by the PILIPINA training team. We have identified COUNCILOR ABDANI T. ALONTO as potential trainer from your LGU. The training of trainers will be held on 19-23 August 2013 (inclusive of travel time) at MASS-SPECC Hostel and Training Center, Tiano-Yacapin/Pacana Sts., Cagayan de Oro City. Enclosed herein please find a copy of the program for your perusal and consideration. Please note that PILIPINA will shoulder the board and lodging (triple/quadruple arrangement) as well as the resource materials of the participants. We are requesting the LGU to shoulder the transportation and personal allowances of Coun. Alonto to be charged to the LGU GAD Fund.
