38 miles today, for the weekend. I wont be on the bike tomorrow. I had wanted to go in a southerly direction and I had wanted to visit Plum Island, but I had hoped to go further. Unfortunately, my heart rate was elevated today for some reason even before I started, so in the interest of safety I made Plum Island the ultimate destination, and took the flattest route I could think of back from there. Plum Island. Facebook had notified me a few days ago of Phoebe Roberts birthday. It was about a year ago on a Saturday ride to Plum Island that was one of my last memorable rides with Phoebe present. The tractor is still there. This is a reprise of a successful shot I had a few years ago, albeit in the summer and with far less sophisticated camera gear. Fire stuff on Newbury Green.
