3916 TRAINED AT POVERTY ERADICATION WORKSHOPS The Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, the Honourable Mokgweetsi Masisi, has said that it is the goal of Government to aid all able bodied destitute persons to step out of poverty. Answering a question in Parliament, the Honourable Masisi also said the total number of beneficiaries trained at workshops in Sehonou, Diphuduhudu, Struizendum and Chanoga was 3 916. Minister Masisi said efforts were being made to reduce the length of the delays, adding that as of today, over P11 million had been spent on packages for 1040 beneficiaries who attended the said pitsos. The Member of Parliament for Gaborone Central, the Honourable Dumelang Saleshando had asked the Minister what the total monetary value of projects handed over to beneficiaries of the poverty alleviation schemes following the workshops held at Sehonou, Diphuduhudu, Struizendum and Chanoga.
