#396 confession 15/8/2014 I m the confessor of #395 confession. neither m a faculty of gec nor an admirer of gec management or policies. I struggled a lot in gec . I think more than any of you. paid bus fee without using it as I was coming from khurda. I was avg at studies ( cap 7. 64 ) still got 8 back. at completion of 4th ur still I was having 3 back papers) . so at total I took 5 yrs to complete my b. tech. every time at placement someone less deserving used to get place in front me. I used to get rejected as I never licked the ass of TPO and Asst. TPO. At last got placed in Samcys Technologies. (Fake company at chhennai) . so had to pay 20000( consultation fee). I b. tech was from 2008 to 2012. but I wasted to more yes bcoz of my back papers n fake campusing. but I never left hope. kept on studying n searching job in Bbsr. as my father was not capable of sending me Bangalore or Hyderabad.actually I did nt want pressurise my father anymore after all he spent on my b. tech. I joined Vodafone BPO where I uses to get 5000 bucks after working 9 hrs per day. so that I can manage my expenses. I stayed in basti where sometime I used to sleep at a corner with rain water coming into the house.used eat in jhopdi hotel with rikshaw pullers n labours.there used to be days when I had to eat once a day coz of shortage of money.used to walk 10 km daily as my office was in mancheswar industrial estate n I was staying in Chandrasekhar our basti. I alws preferred night duty as I used to work at night and search job in morning. do u know how many engineering colleges are there in Bhubaneswar? I went each n every college with my CV for lectureship. and they used to say we have vacancy for m.tech n u r only b.tech n u dont have any experience. sorry cant help u. I used study everyday. and was attending each exam for which I was eligible. cudnt clear SBI PO for only one mark shortage.Then cleared Air Force Common Admission Test, IBPS RRB PO and Infosys Off Campus. The guy who was not getting any job choosed Infosys from the three options. and joined in 2014( just 7 months experience). yes I have frnds who are still roaming around in Bbsr, Bangalore, Hyderabad in search of job and still cursing college and asking money to their parents every month. have anyone of been through worse situations than me? I was not praising gec or was doing any promotion for anyone. I love gec bcoz of my frnds , life partner whom I met there. and it made so tough that now I can face any worst situations. Examine So dear juniors its not good to put ur negative everywhere and every time. PS- I hate that vc, principal,TPO, each staff from management. they are scoundrels, bastards. but I love GEC. I know getting Infosys is not huge achievement but now I send money to my father.every month he does not need any money. but I feel good doing it male passout 2008
