I own: Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown and Kill Bill Vol. 1 All I need now is Kill Bill Vol. 2 Inglorious Bastards and Django Unchained New movies to come out are The Hateful Eight and Kill Bill Vol. 3 Quentin Tarantino! is my most favorite director/writers ever. Lets hope he keeps the good movies comin. I know a lot of you are wondering...What about Death Proof? Well Ok, I guess I have to get Death Proof as well. The problem with that is that I know he wrote and directed that film, but it is in relation to Grindhouse which he directed the segment titled Death Proof. If I am going to do that, then I am also gonna have to go buy Four Rooms, True Romance, and My Best Friends Birthday. That doesnt sound too bad when you think about it, however, Those movies arent part of his 8 pack series. This sucks because I am an avid collector which entitles me to collect all movies that either.... Star favorite actors Are classic films such as Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Scarface, Godfather ect... Written and/or directed by favorite film makers I.E. Ivan Reitman, John Hughes, and Steven Spielberg ect... Or any other related reason. The down side, is that when you start to collect those types of movies to build an incredible collection, You get so sucked in to collecting and getting all the movies that fit in your category of choice, that you are almost forced by the power of stubbornness to start collecting those movies that just dont cut it as good films. An example of this includes, Lets say you want to start collecting....Adam Sandler movies So here you go, you start your collection off right with the classics from the great Sandman himself. You start with Happy Gilmore Billy Madison Big Daddy Mr. Deeds Then you move to his less popular Anger Management Adam Sandlers Eight Crazy Nights Little Nicky Spanglish Hotel Transylvania So now you have quite a few movies that Adam Sandler has made. You look on IMDB and notice that he made really shitty films such as Going Overboard You see that it is an incredibly horrible movie when pinned to box office and critics. However you buy it because its an Adam Sandler movie and it is part of his collection. You then notice he starred in small roles of movies that he has not made. He hasnt directed them or even had big roles in them. They are just cameos like Mixed Nuts or Shakes the Clown But again, you still buy them because its your favorite actor so you want to complete the collection. You look at your movie collection and notice, Hey, I have all these Adam Sandler movies and I noticed that Kevin James stars in a lot of them, Oh look, David Spade too, Now I have to start collecting their movies as well. Why not? Ive got most of them because they star in a lot of movies together so it shouldnt be that bad, But then you get Hitch because its got Kevin James in it. Well now you gotta go start a Will Smith collection because he is in Hitch. So you start buying Will Smith movies and you get Enemy of the State, Well shit, Thats got a lot of other popular actors in it. So now you gotta buy their movies as well. Its a never ending cycle that will haunt you for the rest of your life. The same basics apply with Quentin Tarantino, He made the 8 films that are written and directed by him. But then you want to complete your collection by getting those movies that just dont cut it or have little involvement with him.
