43 is quite a lot of years with the one bloke...we didnt quite have time to fly off to Paris, but the Sofitel in Brisbane looked after us well, especially since we were only doing it on hotel points (we do do a huge number of nights per year in Accor hotels, though). not only bubbly, chocolates and nuts in the room when we arrived, but another similar plate of chocolates at the end of dinner last night. and now the added bonus of having Dim and Alex up from Melbourne for the weekend, so were heading down to lunch with them shortly
