#5albumchallenge Mr.M (2012) Lambchop First up in my 5 album challenge with Adam Behlman was Lambchops 2012 (and 11th over all) album Mr.M. Having never heard Lambchop before I had never had the pleasure of hearing their idiocentric singer Kurt Wagner before and by song 3 I was wondering if he was using some kind of reverb on his voice or something but apparently thats how he sounds anyways his unique delivery added to the overall effect for me but I could see how some might not be able to get past it and onto the wonderful witty lyrics and awesome instrumentation (I call this Mountain Goats syndrome). With a sound that ranges from some kind of lounge to alt country with long ambient instrumental passages this albums fabulous soundscapes had me hooked. Im going to be sinking my teeth in to this album and Lambchops other albums soon I think.
