#6962 I too miss my hostel...the building too. However old may it be.. I like the old Chemistry department building. I would like to visit it during 150th year of establishment...but that doesnt mean the new generation students have to face difficulties to keep my nostalgia alive..they dont deserve to stay in the old, out of service limit,unusable hostel rooms. Look at ARB hostel...it is eligible to be called anything but hostel...oh,SRB is closed by the way...But we are so immersed in our Oitijjo that we choose to let our future generation suffer so as to enable our past generation to have their museum of nostalgia intact when they visit the college for one day during centenary or diamond jubilee. For Gods sake, its a college not a museum. I am not saying demolish every building and erect new ones. But starting a movement for saving every single building is definitely not a smarter choice...we should look upon the All India Ranking of the college rather. #Cottonian 2011-13 P.S. I know many would disagree..
